Dash above steering wheel rattling....

The Dashboard above my steering wheel rattles most of the time when I'm driving it. It drives me nuts. If I push down on it, it stops, and gets quiet. Has anyone else had this problem? Trying to figure out how to fix it. I hate when crap rattles on my car lol.

That's shit. Did it do that from new?

My BMW is 17 years old and the only thing that rattles is that damned CD that I keep forgetting to take out of the passenger door stowage.

Won't be getting my Mustang until the new year even tho' I ordered it last January but getting concerned about talk of QC, panel gaps, rattles etc.

Mine does it.

Seems to be temp (or something) dependent - though I can't nail down the temp. Sometimes makes no noise at all, other times a bit of noise and pushing down on the dash seems to cure it. Every once in awhile it squawks like a sob and no amount of dash pushing will quiet the sucker.

That said, I don't think I've ever had a vehicle (new or used) that didn't make some sort of noise at least once in awhile.

Nope, not at all. I did it without any tutorial or guide. Start from the bottom pieces and work up and across. The only tools you'll need are a 7mm socket and socket wrench.
