It looks like a Frankenstein to me at this point but you gotta start somewhere.

How little positive rake is in the rear wing? The front splitter almost looks like it has negative rake? Plus it's intriguing how far set back the rear diffuser is on this car. I'd like to see the tunnel analysis they did for the rear wing legs of that position vs vertical swan legs. Notice the cutouts in the bottom of the legs they made?

My guess is they attached the rear wing legs onto the quarter panels where they did because that is a naturally strong area of the car plus the rear down legs of the cage probably pass right under that area. I'm thinking it was more weight efficient to make that area work structurally versus mounting the wing in the trunk/rear deck area.

But it could also just simplify access to the fuel or some other adjustments rather than being structure-releated.

I really like the cobbled look, because I associate that look with function being prioritized over appearance.
