Indeed. Wanted this thread to appeal to all around car fanatics. The visibility thing is overdone for the record. I drove it. Head room is fine. He has a sunroof which cuts headroom, it is still fine. He's 6'0. Interior is very nice. HUD is awesome. Visibility thing, you notice initially due to small windows, then after about 1 minute of driving, it normalizes and you forget about it. I had a 370Z before and he had a Miata. Visibility is just as bad if not worse in those 2 cars.

Anyway, it is indeed a great era we live in! I am happy to be a fan of all cars and not just the Mustang! :headbang:
Just go make the same thread with a picture of your Mustang on C6. They are much more accepting than the guys on here. They are all true enthusiasts.

Nice car for sure. Wish they would have changed the styling more. I still can't really tell a difference when I pass Camaros on the lot, or opposite lanes if they are the new one or not.

WHAT? :lol::lol::lol:

You and I must be reading different forums. They talk so much trash on Mustangs over there.

Well I was being completely sarcastic, but thanks for ruining it guys. He won't do it now. I was trying to get some entertainment.

Same! only way I was able to tell was the LED light on the lower side

not sure if the new ones are like this but the 2014's or 2015's when they put their blinker the LEd surround goes away and turns yellow (I'm glad ours doesn't do that !) only with our fog lights though

He let me drive the SS hard today. It is definitely strong. I did about 0-85 or so, and then did the same thing in my GT and felt like i was looking at the dash "waiting" for 80 to hit whereas the SS blew by that number, pulling hard. All in all I still wouldn't change my purchase, but the SS certainly is quick.

I'm not a big Camaro guy myself, but it's a little sad to me how much vitriol the Mustang and Camaro demographics have for each other when they have so much in common... You don't see nearly that kind of thing at practically any other car forum.

... OK, *maybe* Corvette owners towards Porsches, heh.

That is true, I don't understand the hate.. Mustang vs Camaro is like Lakers vs Celtics. Without the competition, one side won't raise to the next level.

On the other thread, "SS vs GT after owning both".. The GT had to be fully modded(W/out FI) to beat a stock SS and a tuned GT's lose to an stock SS.

Camaro one up on the GT's for now in terms of performance. Then Mustangs will one up the Camaro for the next refresh and back and forth. I just happen to love both so I'm not taking sides.

In terms of fun factor and best bang for your buck, the base 5.0 manual can't be beat.

Yeah, I see legit reasons to buy either. The Mustang, while subjective, looks better by most accounts (inside and out, IMO), is ~$4K cheaper, has better visibility, better brakes in the PP... But the Camaro will give you measurably better performance out of the gates and has some slightly more modern interior tech and cooler options.

You can't go wrong with either car.
