Lol, yea compared to $30 for most of these knobs. I am still dumb founded by the mustang aftermarket. People willing to spend $1000+ for an exhaust which offers nearly no immediate performance gains even with a tune, where you could literally have one fabricated from scratch for $400 or less and get equivalent performance and sound. I might give one of these cue balls a shot before I spend the kind of money they're looking for on the ones I posted, but I have a feeling it wont cut it for me.

Could not agree more with you. But to be fair, its that new car tax we're paying. Prices will come down as more aftermarket comes out. I actually switched to this knob I got for 50 bucks, no adaptor required. Feels good man.

It took a little getting used with the reduced weight and added size, but I'm liking it a lot now. I had this one custom machined from speed dawg for my car.
Nice! I have a black with red lettering, 5.0, and red ralley strips on order with Speed Dawg. I wish I didn't have to wait 3 to 4 weeks.

Still patiently waiting for mine. Been 3 weeks today since I ordered.
if I had to bet, I bet its going to ship any day now. From what others have said Speed Dawg is a good company to do business with.

Well the only thing that kind of sucks is apparently I didn't create an account when I ordered it, so being the impatient person that I am when it comes to stuff for my stang I can't just go check the order status, and I don't want to bother them. Hopefully I'll wake up to a nice surprise tomorrow.

I hear Young being inpatient type. Just curious, what style of knob did you order?

Yea I do agree for sure. New stuff is always expensive, especially when you have no competition. Just puzzling that so many people just jump on it with no thought process or critical thinking. Your shift knob is exactly what I was originally contemplating too. It is tasteful, neutral, and classic looking. Love the absence of branding on the sides. Black w/white was a second thought. Then there's the GT350 knob...lol. Sucks there are so many with the same ones. I like to be a little different without going into the realms of rice lol

Black with white rally stripes and 5.0 on side, like the one I have now minus the 5.0. Matches my stang's stripes. I actually have a huge amount of patience, I'm a manager for a retail store and I've been with the same girl for 15 years, so yeah, patience. I JUST WANT MY SHIFT KNOB!!!

I fabricated my own a while back from a CJPP knob because I didn't like how far up the reverse lock out adapter made the knob, but the epoxy isn't holding up in the summer heat. At night and when it's cool it's rock solid. But as soon as it get's 85+ it starts to move around a bit. Won't yank off in hard shifts, but you can feel the play. When I get the speed dawg in I'll sell this one for anyone who wants to tinker with it.

I ordered a shift k n o b from speeddawg but will be 4 weeks till I get it. Specifically made for the lock out system without any extra add ons. I didn't like the adapters and made it look like your shifter was another 2 inches or so higher up. I'll post up when I get it. Also post my k n o b in my boss also at the same time. I've ordered from speeddawg before and was happy with cust service
