Custom Exhausts

Now that my mustang is very almost here I am looking at exhausts. My first choice is a borla exhaust but there is a well respected custom exhaust manufacturer not very far away, they have a body shop which does excellent work (resprayed my supra).

Has anyone give for a custom exhaust over the big names, advantages /disadvantages?

I have a Borla

Advantages with a custom I guess is price that's about it. Disadvantages are you don't know what your going to end up with. Drone is the main issue for me. With the Borla I knew there would be no drone as there are hundreds of people out there raving about it.
With a custom your not going to know what it's like until it's finished. There's a reason these big named companies can charge what they do as they put a lot of time into R&D
