Congrats stu! Beautiful. How long from the day it shipped and showed date on COTUS until it arrived in FL?

My car just went into TRANSIT! wooot woooooot! said it shipped on the 22nd and EDD is 1/9/2015! I hope it takes 12 days or less to arrive, I can still get the incentives. WOOOT WOOOOOT! I am so happy!

It shipped the 10th (in transit doesn't necessarily mean on the railcar as COTUS showed 12/4 for my in transit, check with Rachel) and got here the morning of the 18th, so 8 days actually on the train.

There's a higher than 50/50 chance it will be here before the 5th; I don't know how the trains are/are not affected by the holidays. I dont think they stop honestly.

But remember, you can go sign your paperwork at the dealer (mark it as sold) if you are cool with them on the 5th and get the rebates even if it doesn't come until the 8/9th!!!!

True that! And yes, I do say that you hit it on the nail with the shipping before closure . Thanks man, I will call the dealer after the break unless COTUS updates and close the deal!

How's this for slow. 12/26 status:

July 9, 2014 paid deposit at dealer
July 11, 2014 order date shown at Ford website
November 10, 2014 order processing completed
November 18, 2014 in production
1/15/2015 EDD (changed from 1/2 earlier this week)

12/27 update adds 12/23/2014 "awaiting shipment" and changes EDD to 1/13

Right there with you. Second LE ordered in May, but knew it was the dealer's last allocation and would be built toward the end of the campaign. ETA WAS first week of 2015, now pushed back to second or third.

First LE wasn't much better - ordered two weeks earlier and just received it about two weeks ago despite being a relatively early build.

Cars in the pipe now aren't being helped any by the holiday idling which won't see any new LE builds before 1/5. But 160 are scheduled for that week that will bring the build total through the end of that week to 1721 which, for the first time since LE builds began, will consist of series numbers 0001 through 1721.

Yeah, they're doing the same date dance with mine. Trying like hell to get the deal booked during C14, but now it's supposedly in the hands of the final hauler and the ETA shows 1/3.

Not that I expect them to do anything, but I figure why not give em a call in the morning to see if maybe mine could go out sooner to make it by 12/31 since they dealer won't lift a finger to date the deal 12/31 if the car isn't in their grubbies or even try to exercise any influence over portions they can.

Now watch my car was delivered yesterday. LOL

In Transit!

So I know cotus isn't 100% reliable, and I thought convertible orders wouldn't be tracked there. But just in case I've been checking there for any kind of updates since my order and boom! Now it shows my pony is in transit! Woot! EDD of 1/7/15... Sweet!!! Cannot freaking wait!!!

Dealer called today to say the car was in. This is a full 7 days ahead of the COTUS EDD. I'll pick it up on Friday

The car is home. I'm 57 years old and giggled like a child every time I pushed the go pedal down. WOW! What power! Unfortunately weather is coming in tomorrow and the streets will be salted. The car may not be leaving the garage again for several weeks. Oh well... I'm just happy it's home

By the way... Cotus was off by about a week as it's wasn't to be delivered until the 12th.

You can really see the pony projection lights good in this pic. They aren't quite as bright as I thought they'd be. But they DO get compliments
