I believe the dealer has the ability to prioritize their orders depending upon which ones they want to come first. My dealer probably made mine priority 01 because I kept calling lol
LoL that's awesome. You probably have a priorty 10 which is the best you can get. From my understanding the dealers only can place a 10-20 priorty on the vehicles. While the factory can give priorty 01-09. I thought you might have had a connection with a top Ford executive. It should show on your order form when you ordered the car.

Hi jcovaltine - I just looked and my build date on etis is 30.11.0002. Any clue what that means? I came to this forum to try to decipher it! :)

30.11.0002 is a placeholder date. When your car is actually built Etis will show the correct build date.

Well got word from my dealer that my build week was the 8th said they had an ETA of 12/17 for delivery. COTUS says the 1/23 so we will see. Really excited though.

I would doubt 9 days to load (with however other many cars) onto a train, train to go across country (unloading other cargo at various stops too as it's carrying more than just cars), unload all cars at your local train yard and load into carrier to drive to dealership. Dealership sounds clueless.

1/23 is probably on the long side, but 4-5 weeks to ship once built is average.

That's really not accurate imo. I've seen many many people get their cars within 1-2 weeks of it being built. It also greatly depends on where you live.

Agree ... I looked up the cars my dealer has in stock. Out of the 21 they have in stock, one had a built to delivered time of 37 days. All the others averaged 12 days or less.

Very true, just looked up my dealer's stock and has shipped cars in 10 days, one only took 8. I'm very excited for an early Christmas delivery.

One thing I have learned on here is be prepared for anything. I have seen people get their cars early and late. So I just Roll with it . Down to 48 days tho! I did check at DMV to make sure my plate was still there . She just held it up and smiled said it will be there when I get my car.
