This is driving me insane!

I'm in nearly the same spot as ShadowHorse. My EDD was 12/29 while awaiting shipment, then jumped to 1/30 once it was in transit, and last I checked it was 02/05. I realize California is probably the furthest these cars have to travel, but my car was completed 12/11, it shouldn't take nearly two months to get to me.

Even my dealer doesn't know when it will arrive, they just keep telling me "sometime after January 15th, most likely the end of next month".

I'm happy for everyone else who is getting their cars now, though! Enjoy the hell out of them for all of us stuck waiting.

I'm in the same boat as you. I live in California "Los Angeles area" and my delivery date said 12/29 when awaiting for shipment but as soon as it went in transit it jumped to 1/23/15. Rachel just got back to me this morning. She said the car is in transit but hasn't moved very far. She said she's not sure why it would take that long for the car to be delivered to California but the delivery date can always change once it gets moving again. Sounds like we are on the same train.

Finally moved to in transit today...EDD 1-05-15

Mine moved 1 day further out from 12/26 to 12/27 and even if it should show up earlier my dealer is closed from the 22nd -25th which to some degree is understandable it is the holidays. They open back up for normal hours on the 26th.

So for the people who ordered mustangs that live on the west. I just got off the phone with my dealer and have some info that might help you as well. When my car went into awaiting shipment my EDD was 12/29 but two days ago my mustang went to in transit with a EDD of 1/25/15. I asked my dealer what's up with that and if they can track my car. They told me that is very strange for the EDD to jump and month once it is in transit. Once he tracked my car he noticed it isnt even on a train car or assigned a car yet and that it's still awaiting to be shipped. He said it might have to do with QC issues.

My EDD just moved to 12/30. I might still get to drive it this year.

EDD moved one day from the 22nd to the 21st. Hope that means it's loaded the truck!

Do they deliver the vehicles to the dealerships overnight? Like they work through the AM and just leave em on the lot right?
