I thought coming by truck would be an advantage, but it doesn't seem to be. I'm starting to believe I won't get the $500 rebate deal at all.

Thanks everyone, it's been a blast so far. I will echo what a few have already said .. this thing is a head turner! Everywhere I went people were gawking, wowing, giving thumbs up ... it is a crazy attention grabber. IMO, easily the best all around Mustang to date. We'll done, Ford!

Hang in there man. Do you still have an EDD on cotus? Maybe yours got selected for random QC testing ... :shrug:

The EDD disappeared completely. It had gotten moved from 12-13 to 12-26 to 11-27 and then 11-26. I was really excited because the news of the $500 rebate would have worked out with the date. As of yesterday afternoon no one has any idea where it's at and the EDD is still missing.

Hmmmm .. strange. You know, it kinda sounds like it is waiting on something. So your dealer has no info?

So far the dealer says they don't know anything. I'm beginning to question that though. I've bought a lot of vehicles off them including my 14 GT, but this is the first time I've ever personally special ordered a vehicle. They received their first '15 on 10-15 and I drove it on 10-16. The sales manager has always been great to deal with, but he told me he couldn't let me have one of the first ones at invoice or X-Plan, but he would let me order anything I wanted and sell it at invoice or X-Plan because it wouldn't count against their initial allocation. At this moment, they still have a huge bump sticker on them and so far have only sold one. Which, in my area, it's crazy how much people pay over MSRP for things. I used to be in the business as a salesman and finance manager and it amazed me, even common vehicles people will pay the bump sticker. Anyways, sorry for the rambling, but thus far FordService and my dealer have both not been able to provide any updates to me.

Well, you are not alone. Several others are experiencing this same thing. Have you called the Ford Customer service line, or have you only been talking with FordService here on the forums?

I've been messaging through here, but I think I will call the number on Monday. I really do feel for those waiting even longer than I have been. I really got my hopes up seeing the 11-26 date.

Man yep, cotus can really put someone on an emotional roller coaster ride. Hopefully Ford Service can shed some light on the status of your car.

Thanks my friend. I'm holding out a little bit of hope that it may come in tomorrow and still work out by Monday. On a brighter side, do you have any more pics of yours?
