Hello all,

With the weather getting nicer I have been itching to bring the car out of storage, however the lows are still in the lower 30's for the most part, and with having Cup 2's on the car I was a little hesitant to bring it out due to them cracking in cold weather. I wasn't sure what Michelin considered cold weather so I contacted their customer service to get clarification. The said the do not recommend driving on the tire under any circumstance when ambient temps are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. They also sent me this bulletin and I figured I'd pass the info on for reference in the future.

How does one check tire temperature?
I suppose if you have one of those laser guns?

Yeah those can be picked up relatively cheap but I'd just go off of the ambient temps outside.
