I kind of agree with the fender emblems. Snake badges are cool, but maybe a different type on the fender? All that really matters is that you like it though.

I think you should enjoy doing what you want to do to your car. If you want it to be a cobra build, so be it. The last thing i'd do is listen to a couple of guys that have to just stir up things hiding behind a keyboard. Only you have to be impressed by what you do. There are guys who put on the fenders, hood, grill, etc, and only a select few can tell the difference. And even if they could, who gives a crap. rock on sir and have fun. In one ear and out the other
