I have had a VMP Gen2R on my
Car for about 3 weeks. Seems to be running pretty well. Laid down 602 WHP yesterday.

Sometimes it has a stumble at hot start. Since I have had the SC I have only revved to 7k. I learned yesterday that I had a 7700 rpm rev limit now. VMP told me once I sent them logs back of the 7,000 rpm dyno pulls.

Ever since the car hit 7700 rpm for the first time it has been idling somewhat unstable at times. Still drives fine and still making power.

I’m wondering if a crank relearn is necessary? I have the SCT X4. How difficult is the process? Thanks for any tips.

It is a pretty short and simple process. The tuner will walk you through it. Worth a try, but I would be checking for any kind of vacuum leak since the idle is now different.
