I have been using InnerQD on my Mustang on a regular basis and have not noticed this sort of thing. Also, P&S Xpress is pH neutral, so it's far gentler than an alkaline APC would be. I would rule out chemicals here.

Out of interest, do you use a lot of hand sanitizer or hand cream of some sort? I know during the height of the pandemic there were a lot of reports that high use of IPA-based hand sanitizer was degrading steering wheels and other interior controls.

that is a negative. I actually despise lotions/creams/stuff on hands. The little bit I found of other people with other fords their regiments varied so I'm leaning towards just faulty plastic of sorts.

Water and a bit of vinegar in spray bottle is excellent cleaner.
