Just prepped the car today for C Quarts. Some people are doing multiple coats the same day, although they really don't mention this in the directions. Anyone have input on this? Thanks

I don't know much about CQuartz...I'd do at minimum 2 coats. My car is currently getting 4 coats of Ceramic Pro's 9H coating with lifetime warranty.

Great question... I have been wondering how much time to use between coats.

2 coats to ensure even coverage. People usually wait an hour between coats.

Just had enough to do 2 coats. The second was definitely harder, can't imagine 4. You will never have to wax that Blue beauty again.

That's a supposed benefit of Ceramic Pro...cleaning the wheels and calipers are also supposed to be a breeze. Will see if just hosing it with water is good enough as some say. Hope my Triple Yellow turns out as glass as that Lightning Blue. She looks amazing!

2 coats works, but certainly isn't necessary. Others were right suggesting even coverage. I would have let it cure over night before adding another layer. Now that you have Cquartz on the car you'll want to get these to support it:

Reload: to top it once ever 6 months or so.

Hydro2: to add a quick layer of SiO2 every 3 months.

Reset: Use every once in a while to dial clean up the coating.

Cleaning is not any different with a coating, dirt is dirt. It just protects the paint.

Should be a big difference. Certainly easier to keep a car clean/clean a car that's waxed regularly than one that's not.

If the ceramic pro/cquartz creates a surface that dirt cannot impregnate into like paint, or one that has lower coefficient of surface friction it should make cleaning them a lot easier!

Can't find ceramic pro anywhere online to buy though :(
