When I carry my pistol its usually about the same position as my front pocket (right side) so when I'm driving I remove the pistol from my holster so it's not digging into my leg. Have any of you found a good mounting place for yours if you take it out of your holster while driving?
I have tried keeping it located mid back/center but that's even worse when driving.
Ideas would be greatly appreciated

Tim

Why on earth would you carry a firearm in a car.....

1. Because I care about protecting my wife and my self

2. 2 combat deployments to Afghanistan will change you, especially in the Kunar. That place is no joke.

3. Having my name on the ISIS kill list definitely dose not help

4. Because it's America and I can. Just like I own a suppressor and multiple different firearms from AR-15 SBRs to AK74s. (Total of 13 different firearms right now)

As stated before. My self and also my wife never leave the house without a firearm. And there are plenty in the house in each room if needed. I have PTSD amd it helps calm me to know that I always have a firearm woth me. As stated befor being in many fire fights will do that to you.

Been there. Grew up there. Don't need a gun.

If guns were not so freely available then you wouldn't need a gun to protect yourselves. Have a firearm here and your in prison.

I really don't want this thread to turn into a flame war about guns. Please stay on topic.

Anyway this is a car forum and ive turned it political - apologies - I know right to bear arms is entrenched in the U.S way of life - but hey that's why you get lunatics opening fire in a church and schools.

We don't get that over here - when there is a incident with an illegal firearm here its headline news and when said person gets shot by specialist police its headline news for 2 years while there was an enquiry into the death.

Anyway back to mustangs!

Wrong on so many levels, but thanks for trying to throw that jab in there...

Please don't post anything else in this thread, we know how you feel, and we don't give a fuck.

Last thing.

Laws don't stop the bad guys from getting firearms. It doesn't stop drugs, it doesn't stop sex trafficking. All it dose is disarm the good guys. If you want something bad anof you can get it.

And to UK soldiers not wanting firearms. All I have talked to wish they could but obviously can't. And I have nothing against UK troops. (Have made some great friends) but the fact itl, 2,210 American soldiers and 453 British soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001, when the U.S.-led coalition toppled the Taliban government for harbouring al Qaeda after the militant group carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. The UK which a large roll was just base protection as the US being in the hardest and dangerous parts of Afghanistan doing active combat patrols daily
