I want to order a covercraft sunscreen, question, do our new Mach 1's have the rear camera option on the mirror? It sure looks like it, jus want to order correctly. TIA

Do you mean rear vision thru the mirror like on my ZL1 Camaro ? If that is what you are talkig about, mine does not. However, I do not have the tech pkg.

You might want to check with Covercraft about this. I’ve seen two mirrors for the Mustang. The standard mirror and the one that doesn’t have a bezel (needs rain sensing wipers). Neither has a camera.

What did you end up with?

I am facing the same dilemma except I already got Covercraft UVS100 sunscreen without the rearview camera option and it seems that the sunscreen does not clear the right (passenger) side of the rearview mirror mount. There seems to be something like a camera built into the mount (which makes the mount bulkier to one side), but I cannot really say as I did not find anything about the camera in the user manual, so I guess it might as well be a sensor or something.

I had the same issue and decided to go with a generic gt sunshade through my dealer and was much cheaper and easier to install/ remove . P/n FD901

There are two types, one is for your standard Mustang without the front facing camera and rain sensors and the other with. Since the M1 has all that stuff, you want the one with camera as it has the bigger cutout needed around the mirror.

I guess the misleading bit is about the camera. I am positive there is no camera mentioned in my user manual and I am not aware of any feature that might be using it, but the thing indeed looks like a camera. Maybe it is just a data collecting camera for Ford AI.

I was searching for any pic of the aforementioned sunscreen (with the camera cutout), but could not find any. All the pictures on the Covercraft website are generic shots of generic sunscreens. My concern was that the cutout might be too big .

I just checked on the Covercraft website and even when you select Mach 1 as a "Submodel", it still offers with and without camera options. So it is not very clear there either.

Yes there is no front camera. But there is a camera there. It's for the lane departure and anti-collision system.
