I am trying to come up with the best option for storing my mustang. It is not going to be my daily driver. I have a 3 car garage however there are 2 problems. My wife has 2 indoor cats and we keep the litter box in the garage. These cats are ridiculous. In our last house they used every door jam as a scratch post. I had them declawed before we moved into the new house but their rear claws have destroyed our tables now.

Options:
1. Car cover and park the car in the garage.
2. Car cover and park the car in the driveway.
3. No cover and leave in driveway.
4. Same as option 1 but also have the cats rear claws removed!

Also, I live in Tampa, FL. It is very sunny and rains a lot. Which car cover would you recommend?

Do you think that the cover will protect against the cats claws?

Why not put the litterbox in a bathroom? My garage is a sanctuary, no Persian fluffball is ever getting in there.

I'll never declaw a cat, but that's a conversation fit for another forum.

My wife likes the litterbox in the garage so that she never has to see it and she doesn't want guest dealing with it in the bathroom. Her parents and family come over almost everyday to see our 18 month old son. The garage is my sanctuary but those damn cats are my nightmare.
