Dealerships usually offer it out as an 'extra' when selling the car, 9/10 times you'll never go through 6 tyres in a year, however 6 Pzeros at base price cost is gonna cost you about £500, and wheel refurbs each time you get a curb slice or chip way into the high hundereds in two years, works out quite well, if you get full value out of this. I'd been offered it from Lookers Ford when i'd bought my old car so I assume most ford dealerships offer it.
Funnily enough I wasn't offered anything like that, guess the issues with paint and having to go to the bodyshop overshadowed everything else.
They haven't even got a service plan together for it, I understand even Ford haven't got that sorted yet.

I've just sent the GM an email asking how much it'd cost to fix while the bodyshop has the car to re do the bumper for the 2nd time. Hoping he'll say don't worry we'll sort that for you foc :D

Line-lock is going to come in useful ;) :D
Talking of which; does the car record when you use line lock in the computer? Friend of mine took his Porsche 911 in for a service, they downloaded the computer and said 'aahh we see you have been using the vehicle on track days' and changed his servicing schedule. A good thing apart from the cost. It is however a short step from that to warranty exclusions. Given that we (will) have a track mode and an actual line lock function I assuming Ford can't make a fuss if you turn up with busted half shafts. Yeah right.

You have to pay extra for the "track" warranty ;)

Wheel fixed, bumper completely resprayed. Worse than it was, original spot is ok but now I have several low points in the paint on the other side of the bumper, I pinhead white spot & a paint run. Top that off with a scrape along the black plastic surrounding one of the rear light clusters.

Painful! All that time wasted. Did they admit the extra damage to the light?

Got a small scratch on my rear bumper (on car when I picked it up) which is down the the primer (it seems). The dealer is happy to fix if I take it in, but I know this is exactly the kind of shoddy work that's going to happen if I do. I've got a touch up stick and my detailer is going to do their best in a couple of weeks, when I take it into them. Seems so wrong to have to do your own repairs on a brand new car, especially resorting to spending your own money* on crappy touch up paint, but the alternative is to let the clowns at the main dealer loose on the car. I'm dreading the point at which something goes wrong on the car and I have to take it in for warranty work.

* The dealer said that they'll order the touch up paint and send it to me, but there's a back-order time of 6 weeks. I will be amazed if it actually turns up. Ordered on ebay myself, came 2 days later.

It's going to a ford bodyshop this time to sort out, gonna have to take another look at the light cluster to assess if it's worth replacing it.
Definitely paint issues though even if they are tiny, I won't accept lumps or bumps in paintwork no matter how small.

I've blagged the £85 boot liner I wanted though as compo

Just making sure I'm not being picky here, apologies for the size of the pics. I know we're all very particular about our cars & in not sure whether average joe bloggs would notice these but I'm not happy.
As you can see there's loads of pinch marks in the paint (pretty sure that's not the official name :) )and the white spot in middle of 3rd pic is actually missing paint.

Looks like somethings under the paint? (Like when you put a phone screen cover on and forgot there was a teeny tiny crumb under it). I'd get them to fix it, should be a sand down and respray the panel kind of job.

The pinches in Pic 2 look more like dents :eyebulge:
