I have a 2016 GT with the Corsa Xtreme Catback (quad tips for Roush valance) and Kooks 1 7/8 catless longtubes.

This is what the previous owner had installed. its sounds great!!!!! Its just too loud for my liking.

I am looking to quiet it down without cutting everything up. i want a really deep (not raspy) tone.

Any ideas? Anyone want to trade for a Corsa Xtreme with 500 miles on it?

I am also new here, and first time ford owner... go easy on me.

Thanks in advance.

ARH catback with hpipe would be more to your liking, it's what I have and love that its deep with a reasonable sound level.

Now that it's almost summer I'd love for something a bit louder but know I'd probably regret it since I dd and do small road trips every weekend.

I was considering buying the corsa axle back since it looks like it would fit into the ARH.

Seeing you live in chicago too has me thinking... lemme know if you end up selling just the axle back or if you want to hear my exhaust in person. Good luck!

P.S. I also have the full stock catback if you want to go that route

Vibrant 1794s are an option. Exactly what I did on my Xtremes + ARH LTH. For not cutting you could consider swapping in the Corsa Touring axle back effectively converting your catback from Xtreme to the Sport.

There are days where I'd like to have the Xtreme again (it sounds amazing), but then I get blasted by my buddy as he goes WOT while my windows are down. Oww.

Resonators are the way to go. They involve cutting and welding, but well worth it. This is the cost effective route as well.

If you 100% refuse to cut, either buy ear muffs off Amazon or switch the whole entire exhaust system out with a quieter system.

The deepest notes are from systems that use straight through mufflers with some sort of packing material....magnaflow, MBRP, etc

These systems drone like crazy though. I have MBRP race with longtubes and the drone will bore a hole into your skull at certain RPM/load situations. But I do love the way it sounds.

That’s not a bad option... I ordered the Steeda 3 inch system because it was on sale. They said it bolts up directly to my looks LTs. I figured I would give it a try.

I am going to give the Steeda 3 inch cat back a shot... if not I’ll go to resonators

Fyi Vibrant 1794 will keep the 3" in and out if you go that route. 12" long.

It’s just a weekend/ fun car... so drone isn’t my #1 concern. Although, I don’t want very much drone under normal cruising conditions.

I have a strong feeling I’m going to like the Steeda system... if it’s a bit loud, I might add resonators to it. I want to ditch some of the raspy notes from the Corsa system anyways

I for some reason can’t find a video of the Steeda 3 inch system... let alone with a set of catless longtubes

You will hate the drone of that one. I would look at the AWE touring catback
