When you add the price of the corsa catback plus one of those brand headers your looking around the same price as a full brand system.
That's pretty much a wash pricewise, The headers are what I'm talking about. I think a lot of people are going with Stainless Power, Pypes, etc, which are a grand or more less than ARH and $5-600 less than Kooks or SW. Get a nice system with a negligible power difference for less. I would do the full ARH again but some of the new alternatives are very tempting in quality and price.

Corsa Sport Cat back + ARH direct connect LT's is my favorite sounding set up for the S550! Just my unbiased opinion :-) The Sport will give you deeper tones than Xtreme, but it will not fall flat up top when your ripping it or get buzzy and maintains the tone throughout the band. So many tough choices, glad I do not own one lol.

And this is why I chose that very combination. I think it covers almost everything people look for in a LT header/exhaust combination.

People are cheaping out on headers but dont realize it changes the sound. Like people hear the full arh system but dont want to spend the money for the full system thinking all the tone and clarity comes from the catback. Which simply isnt true.

For example hypermotive switched from sw to arh with the xrtreme and sports and it cleaned up the sound quite a bit. The corsas are nice sounding pieces in my opinion with Arh. Its probably my second favorite sound next to the full arh systems. All headers are not equal no matter what people think. You really do get unmatched quality with Arh. Kooks being a close second. Most people dont know arh was born of previous kooks employees. Arh made some changes and ended up becoming arguably a better quality header and exhaust. Its Watson racings header choice for a good reason.

Nail on the head! I could immediately tell a difference in the ARH vs the SW. That's why all the cars at Hypermotive run ARH headers. They're an awesome product and sound amazing.

Agree completely on the ARH. There's some really nice stuff out there but I'm not changing.

well I got the ARH catless headers on with corsa sport. it's a lil deeper than the s types but not as loud. my big grip is that they are still buzzy. I'm wondering if this is just from not having cats. the exhaust is still brand new so not sure if there is a break in period

There is a short period that the tone does change on exhausts. Id give it thousand miles or so. From the sounds of it, if it doesnt smooth out after some miles, you should have gotten the full Arh system.

Buzz like a vibration (drone), or raspy (xpipe)?

Doesn't help you but I don't have either with the full system. Are you xpipe? If so it's going to have some rasp. I would check all the fasteners and clearances.

it's all tight. I was just expecting ARH corsa combo to blow me away. the fit ment and quality is second to none, but the sound is so so. I should have went full ARH h pipe.
