I am having issues deciding on if I should go with the corsa touring axle back or the extreme active axle back.

I have SP catless LTH and the corsa double h pipe. I know the active extreme with give me the best of both worlds but I’m worried that the actuators will make the exhaust sound metallic in the normal mode. I also do not want to be extreme loud 24/7.

Hopefully someone can help me make my mind up.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve not heard the active Corsa system but this is a good video showing the Corsa active in the different modes. It sounds like you get the best of both. In Quiet and Normal you the Corsa Sport tone and volume. Open those valves all the way in Track and you get the Extreme.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen that video before and it sounds great but it’s with the stock headers/cats. I’m worried all of the free flowing air is gonna make the valves sound real metallic.

I’ve not heard of that issue with catted long tubes but catless I’m not sure. Corsa is pretty top notch so I wouldn’t think that would be an issue unless there were a defect with the muffler. Zander13 on YouTube ran it on his GT after he did headers. I don’t recall him saying he had issues in later videos but it’s been a while since I’ve watched his stuff.

Hey there! It's really gonna be up to the sound you're primarily looking for. Like you already hinted towards, the Xtreme's will give you the best of both worlds, But when the valves are open it will definitely be loud.

I personally, have not heard the touring in person, but know it to be a more mild tone. If it were me, it'd like the peace of mind knowing I can open and close the valves when I'd like.

Feel free to reach out and we can certainly help you here at Lethal Performance!

Get the actives. I have this system with double H and stock headers. Quiet is very quiet, Normal = Touring, Sport = Sport, Track = Extreme.
