I got the Sport CB purely because I am saving up for ARH headers.

I watched the video Hypermotive made of the Sports with ARH combo and wet my pants.

Hell yeah! Just watched it as well. I wish there were more of xtremes and kooks. Can only find just a few people with them posted, lol.

That's what pretty much sold me too. I do plan on headers and the extremes are a bit much. It's still plenty loud when you get on it with the sports.

Now the question becomes catted or non-catted? Part of me wants to stay catted in fear of inspections ever changing for visual in my state. It's not like a simple swap to put on stock headers and go get inspected.

you would just swap the off road pipe to a high flow cat... problem solved

Off-road pipe meaning the double x-pipe to a catted version of something else?

We need to get Alton into a 12-step program.

the leader pipes between the double x and the headers. most of these headers have interchangeable options to flip back and forth between high flow cat and no cats.

I installed my Sports last night and they sound great. I can't even imagine having something louder. Car is bone stock other than that.

No drone. Runs quiet at 65-70, but you'll start hearing it at 75+ cruising speeds with a nice tone at 35-45 riding around. It really roars when you put your foot into it and into the power band.

I'll be adding a Steeda CAI/tune and BBK 1 3/4 long tubes with catted mid-pipe. I'm sure it will be plenty loud!

I chose the Sports after watching about every video on the internet and reading all the forums I could find. One thing stuck with me... If you plan on staying stock headers/cats then the Extremes are probably perfect. Once you add long tubes, delete the cats, or more power it'll be insane. I wanted a nice balance for the stuff I'm adding, and I felt the Sports would do that.

Yep this was my thoughts also. I love the Xtremes, but they get nasty loud with headers.

I guess I have another question as well. So for the full 3" options with no bottleneck, is ARH the only header that has lead pipes that are true 3"? Also, when doing the 3" connection from the lead pipes to the X-Pipe, do you just leave out the adapters that come with the Corsa's?

Ideally I'd like to run the 1-7/8" longtubes catted\catless with 3" leads straight into a 3" Corsa Sport catback with no modifying.

Just trying to make sure I understand this right. I would even consider Kook's headers if they weren't the factory connect 2.5" off the lead pipes and had 3".
