I have Corsa Extreme with catless SP headers and, just like everyone said here, its loud as hell.

Cold starts are pretty bad, thankfully I start my car around 7:40 PM so I don't wake any neighbors up.

Warm idle is mean. IMO its the best idle a 2011+ GT can have without touching the cams.

Normal city and highway crusing isn't bad at all so long as you keep it below 3k RPM. Obviously you can hear your car so you know its not stock, but if your windows are up and your below 3k its not loud enough to interrupt conversations or mess up music.

The more you go past 3k the louder it gets, and it ramps up quick. Even at 3.5k RPM its obscenely loud.

WOT is where its at. My ears are sore after a few WOT pulls with the windows down. Windows up is pretty tolerable, but its still loud as hell. I have a permanent grin tattooed on my face during WOT pulls, all I can think is "I'm a FK'ING DRAGON!" as my car quite literally roars through the gears. My dad often jokes that when I go by graveyards that graves pop open with skeletons looking to see what the hell is going on.

One thing I will say, I've gotten so many compliments and thumbs up since I've gotten this combination. Even the Extremes alone didn't get me much attention. Honestly, I probably get one encounter every week or every other week. That's not to say I haven't pissed some people off, I'm sure I have... But with respect to people who respect fast cars, I think most are giving it a big

It's tough to find regular driving videos, but this video is of a WOT pull and its the reason I decided to go with this combination.

No regrets!
I witnessed a sexy hostess jump when Chris (Taneras) started his car remotely. She was standing at the door of a high end steak house holding it for us and flinched and squealed when he started his car. It was sexy as hell.

I have heard this setup, its incredibly loud, Nascar loud (not kidding). Much too loud for my taste, i have corsa sports and i'm going catted when I get headers. Now that I have a used 4runner I drive part time I'm not quite as worried about the sound.

Agree. I would do catted too. Catless is too loud for my taste.

There's that little thing about being better for the environment, too. For me, the HP gain without them is negligible. Since I'm not on the track 100% where every pony counts, I'll keep 'em on. Anything I can do to keep from adding to my list that sends me to Hell. :)

I have SP catted long tubes with beefcake's XL leads it's 3" all the way back to Corsa extreme catback. Its loud but still very manageable. Since the Corsa has no drone it can be quiet at low rpms. I just shift at lower RPMs and don't have an issue. The sound is amazing though.

Alright... I finally figured out how to be a YouTube star.

Here's my cold start. It was 77 degrees here, so I think it was a little milder for whatever reason. I let it start up then settle down a minute, but never went under 1000 RPM into regular idle. Just a couple quick throttle blips.

Keep in mind this is in the garage. Now that I figured it out I'll see if I can't post one in the great outdoors next time with regular idle and a little more rev action.

I contemplated on Kooks LTs with my Corsa Xtreme cat-back on my '15 GT vert that I sold. IMHO, it's the best sound hands down, other than the sounds women make. I always tell people it's manageable, and it really is. So far two people have pulled the trigger on this exact setup, after having some concerns, and now they're happy and believe me. Everyone just says it's obnoxious and stuff and sure it really is crazy loud at wide open, but just driving normal speeds and even cold start, it's not ridiculous. SynisterGT just also pulled the trigger on Kooks LTs for his Corsa Xtreme Catback setup :D

Here's a video if you're interested:

I had one of the first Corsa Extreme Kits in here and Kooks O/R headers was my first Mod.

Here's a couple videos. Enjoy

they sound great but way too loud, in fact so loud that i had my stock resonator put back in instead of the frpp res delete pipe i tried...my setup is stainless power long tubes with off road pipes into factory resonator and exhaust to corsa sport axelback.....i found that even the slightest touch of throttle under load was like a 5k rpm to everyone else around me....easy to attract unwanted attention imo, with the factory resonator it still sounds great, tame enough to comfortaly drive around town yet wild enough under wot....besides i like the sound of my blower with the 360 degree vortech race valve whistling under the hood...:)

Like altjx just said I just pulled the trigger, hopefully they will be put on in the coming weeks, work is in the way lol.

Question, buying a vmp S2 on Saturday, could I install the headers without a tune and run it a week or two before putting the blower on and getting everything tuned at once or would I be damaging anything?
