I tell exhaust manufacturers to put the crack pipes down with their pricing.

Buy an X-pipe and a set of mufflers of your choice. Done. Save yourself a ton of cash.

Axle back prices are a joke.
Lost our crack pipe while swimming in all these gold coins or maybe in one of our Lambos :D... but still manage to employ over 100 employees in the USA and manufacturing in a small town in Ohio  quality comes at a price to not only buy BUT to manufacture... I am still waiting for the cost of tires to come down :( #becauseracecar

Save your money and get what you exactly want. Me and most of us on here have had more than one exhaust system. Money down the drain. If you can try to meet up with someone that has a exhaust to see if that's the sound you like. Corsa has that nice exotic sound, borla has a more deeper muscle car sound with a great idle sound. Roush is in the middle of the 2. I have the borla s-type with H pipe. I love the sound!!! Good luck and just my 2 cents.

Corsa xtreme here chiming in, I have heard a lot of borlas, roushs, and custom x-pipe/h-pipe setups in person.

Long story short, there are no alternatives for the stellar fitment and sound Corsa produces from a catback. NONE!

Well, I guess that explains the high prices... overhead. :D

Cat-backs are more of a noise mod than performance. Gains have been proven to be minimal. IMO, I won't spend $1200 for noise. Axle backs are two mufflers, tips, and a small amount of pipe and I've see them in the $700+ range.

A x-pipe/h-pipe alone is roughly $220 and will give more than enough noise for some people, and if you want more, you can buy a pair of mufflers and tips for another two bones. All stainless of course.... not that I've ever aluminized steel not last as long as most people own their cars (I don't live in a salt-water state). Now that I'm thinking about it, I have a aluminized flowmaster cat-back on my 97 Cobra that still looks new. I installed in 1999 and it probably cost me $300.

You guys might make a great product... I don't doubt it. But that's why we all have choices and opinions.

Corsa Touring here and I'm very happy with it. Learned a long time ago that it's almost always better to be patient and eventually get the best that's out there.
Having to go through 2-3 different systems trying to find the one that's just right often ends up costing more in both time and money over the long run away.

I went with Jay @Hypermotive to get American Racing headers paired with the Corsa Sport catback. While sound is subjective......do it right the first time. I also have or had Corsa on my Raptor, Subaru STi, Z06 and CTS-V Coupe.

I had a Corsa on my 99 Trans Am, back when they were somewhat new, loved the noise it made. Been a Corsa fan since then. I've got a Corsa extreme with ARH headers waiting in my shop, and the car on jack stands, with no time to work on it.

I've always taken the approach of "buy once, cry once". A budget is a budget, but decide exactly what you want (whether that is Corsa or otherwise) and don't settle or you will always have that nagging feeling every time you drive your car. The only thing necessary to increase your spending limit is a little more time. I'm personally a big Corsa fan so we had Shawn at Hypermotive hook us up with ARH LT's with cats and Corsa Sport catback for my daughter's car.

There really isn't an alternative. Borla make nice exhausts but won't have the same sound to them and they are also expensive!
Plenty of cheaper options but they will mostly have the deeper bassier sound like Magnaflow, MBRP etc. we can give you a great deal on any of the exhausts if interested and would like a quote though. We always guarantee the lowest pricing!
I have the Corsa touring axle backs and love them!
Being non-bias as I can... this is what I try to do with any mods I do.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. Most likely I will be going with a close friend who owns a FoST tuning shop for the parts but I will keep you guys in mind :). I had '12 GT and I don't remember being vendors being so active on the forums (back at ModdedMustang.com). I think it's great!

I think I may settle for the Corsa sport axle back..

btw I recently listened to Ford Racing Sport catback which is in the similar price range but the sound is "similar"? Personally I would still go with Corsa but I thought it was interesting
