Had my Corsa Exhaust installed today and so far I love it. It has a very exotic sound to it and it is a lot different than anything I have heard.

With that said does any exhaust company sell a 3 inch h pipe by itself?

I would love to hear how the Extreme system sounds with an h pipe.

Might want to touch base with Corsa... their system is designed to be 'no drone' because of the way it is built. You may introduce some unwanted sounds from the exhaust if you change out the double x pipe. With that said, I would also love to hear this exhaust with an H-pipe. Hopefully someone has some better/more useful input!

Since you're asking about the Extreme system, I'm going to assume you have the cat-back as that's the only way the Extreme is offered.

Currently, there are no H pipes that will work with the Corsa cat-back systems to be a direct replacement for the double X. You can most likely purchase one of the H pipes that we manufacturer and have a local exhaust shop fab something up to connect the two, but that's about all you can do right now with the Extreme systems. If you went with a Touring or Sport axle back, you could most definitely use a resonator delete H pipe with either one of those two options. Hope that clears some things up, let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks

I think the "no drone" has more to do with the muffler design. I am not 100% sure though. A H pipe will be interesting and seeing no one has one I will have to wait.

Yes I have the catback. The Corsa came with 2.5 to 3 in connection pipes from the headers to the double x. Would the issue be with the double x to the lead pipes to the mufflers?

I know ARH has a 3 in H pipe with the catback they sell. Would that work if I could find one?

Thanks.

the extreme is designed for that euro type sound that your looking for,

most h pipe systems are designed for an older school muscle car type sound,

really need to pick one direction imo

Yes, the issue would be where the H pipe would have to connect to the muffler because of 2 things:

1) The diameter of the pipes of the Corsa mufflers is 3" where the resonator delete H pipe is 2.5"

2) The location of the exit on the H pipe vs the inlet of the 3" Corsa muffler. They are not in the same location so some type of adapter pipe would need to be made to make this connection.

As far as the ARH system, the only one that will work with the complete Corsa cat-back is their direct connection systems. Now, if you went with their long system, you could probably make that work with minimal modification by using only the axle-back portion of your Extreme system.
