Corsa Catback Install Issues

Hey everyone I recently installed a Corsa Sport catback on my 16 GT. I couldn't get the exhaust tips lined up so I attempted to fix them this morning and saw this:

I loosed all clamps, refitted and tightened them back up multiple times but as you can see the exhaust still won't go completely level. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this okay?

Upon further inspection, the ends of my exhaust manifolds where they connect to the x pipe are not level.. I don't think I'll be able to fix this myself. I guess I will just level the exhaust tips best I can until I install some LT headers.

Did you fit the clamps on right? I had mine on too far and it wasn't a solid install at first. I backed them onto the ends of the flanges and it holds tight now.

Just loosen up the 4 15mm bolts and push both sides up. Then tighten up.

That's what I did when I first installed it. I supported the x pipe with a jack and wooden block and tightened everything afterwards. That didn't work so I tried the same method but this time I supported the mufflers with a jack and block then tightened the clamps that connect axel back portion to the x pipe..

I ended up with an 80% solution. My tips were about 1.5in low now there only about .5 in too low. The passenger side axel back piping is incrementally lower than the driver side which balanced it out.

When I took it all off I confirmed that the stock header ends are not level, is this common or should I get a dealer to fix it? I'm only at 5k miles.

My passenger side hangs lower than the driver side and I'm thinking it is probably an issue similar to yours. I'm going to get underneath today to try and fix it. Will post my findings. My mufflers are hardly in the hangars too, is that normal? I might try pushing them towards the back of the car a little and try my luck with the connections to the resonator.

EDIT: I just got done adjusting. Such an easy thing to do compared to other cars I've owned. I used the idea of a jack to hold the mufflers and everything is better looking now.

have you tried loosening the clamps at the lead pipes and then the rear clamps at the hangars, then you can physically twist the x pipe to make it level.

Had the same problem driver side lower then passenger side, took it to my buddy who has a muffler shop he torched the hanger bars till red hot and bent them until they were perfect and cooled them off with cold water. He said its common for the hanger bars to not fit perfectly no matter what cat back they just have to be heated up and bent into the right place!
