OK, my 93 tune with Steeda CAI are awesome! Going to go e85 after the first of the year. My tuner said he will do a tune for $100. Brother in law deal. How much more will the e85 add HP wise? Ballpark is all I am looking for. I have read several different numbers but who here has corn and had a dyno?
I am fully aware of the pros and cons and I am willing to accept the cons for the pros.

Never dynod mine, but based off looking at lots of other people’s numbers or numbers put out by tuners it seems to be roughly a 20 hp difference if all else is stock. Obviously the more mods the more potential increase.

But, it also just behaves differently in general and they can do a lot of down low timing that really wakes up the car in terms of the butt dyno.

Extrapolating from from what my 18' A10 made 420rwhp/390rwtq with a PBD 93 tune...

Another 18' A10 on E85 made 455rwp/430rwtq on the same dyno with a PMAS CAI. Not sure who's tune he was running.

So 30rwhp with substantial low end torque gains, he was up 40rwtq at 3k rpms over my car and just kept pulling.

I would expect up to 40 more HP with timing. Boosted about 60-70 HP more. I went from 640 HP on 93 to 704 HP on a boosted car in my 2018.

Depends on your tune and how much timing too. But min of 20 whp is a conservative estimate.

'18 A10 Vert @ 5530' altitude. Stock, 394. +E70, 432. +LTH, 452. +PMAS, 470. So, +38rwhp in my case by just adding E70 and appropriate tune alone. I know that SAE correction is supposed to account for altitude change, but that formulae becomes less reliable above 3,000'. PBD mail order tune by Trev. The local brew here tests anywhere from E65 to E75. The last two times I tested it in warm weather, it was only 65. Haven't tested the winter blend yet. Hope this helps...
