Coolant?

Been googling around, and I need to add a little bit of coolant to the GT, was wondering if it's okay to use the orange stuff at O'Reilly or AZ, like Prestone or something. Or if anyone can recommend something. If not I'll just go to a dealer and get MC.

Not sure, I wouldn't call it "low" exactly. It's just a little under Min for cold, it's been like that since March (17k miles now at 26k) when I bought it. Left it intentionally to see if it will drop more but it hasn't.

Orange MC is available at most autoparts stores.

The Prestone one is fine. Same exact mixture as the Ford one and a hell of a lot cheaper. I had to get a little bit when I switched to the Mishimoto tank. As long as you aren't pouring green stuff into orange stuff, you'll probably be fine.

Did some internet commando searching on this last month. Lots of contradicting info out there! One guy I read was a Ford SM. He said it is the same.
Just to be safe, I ordered a gallon of Motorcraft from Amazon.
Not for my car, my daughters Escape with almost 50K miles after 3 years. Mine is a hair low too when sitting cold.

They are all low from factory. Two of my Mustangs came from the factory with coolant right at LOW line.
