Cool idea: Ford engineer chat

So on some of the other manufacturer sites (example: I used to have a Dodge Ram), the website set up a chat with one of the product engineers, and all kinds of good info was gained.

Maybe, just maybe we could get Dave Pericak or one of the numerous other smart folks to do something like that for us? Maybe a chat, or even send them an email with a bunch of moderated questions?

Stuff like what exactly the toggle modes change, etc. Obviously not future product plans.

I think that would be very cool for the leading S550 forum, full of enthusiasts!

Were you aware that we have Brian Cotter from Ford (PR person who is associated on the Mustang) posting here periodically? Look for his posts under BrianCotterFord. Perhaps he would be someone who could help in this regard.

We were in discussions about this idea a while back, but Ford ultimately decided that too many "no comment" responses to questions about unreleased info would not be productive. We'll see if we can revisit this after full details about the GT350 are released.

It would not hurt if members want to voice their interest to Ford.

Yea, it just needs a good moderator to not submit all the "what horespower will the 2020 Bronco have?" type questions.
