I'm telling you they want US Mustang more prestigious.

Mustang was always and always will be a US trademark.

I don't feel that's the case at all. It's just business and Ford is looking to save costs wherever it can as exporting is expensive.

Think of it as them testing the water. If they decide that it's worth it the can begin producing the cars overseas in their factories that are already established.

Overseas sales volumes are wayyyyy too low to justify local production. That will never happen.

The Mustang is much more "exclusive" over here than the US, especially if you consider some holiday destinations like South Florida which are full of V6 rentals — it hardly gets less exclusive than that.

I think a light tint film on your clear tail lights would look great. Kind of Tesla-ish.

I think the number allocated is too low. A lot of ppl want this car, especially at 35k. Some countries have other discounts and maybe a dealer discout(IF you wouldn't have to wait 1 year and limited production), so 32k for an ecoboost mustang is like a Ferrari for the price of a Bimmer. There is no car in the 30-35k area that could be better. Now considering they made it @40, that's a different story. The Golf R and S4 are fearsome contenders and the limited edition Evo X can wipe the floor with the Mustang. While the WOW factor is not to be found in a VW or Mitsubishi, from the performance POV, the Mustang is starting to lose it's leadership if they keep rising the price up. Not to mention the Focus RS will come next year and it's gonna be bad ass.

In any case, I don't want them to build it in EU. Then too many will have it and I won't be that unique... it's bad enough there is another Black Eco in Romania.....

Black, grey, white and the yellow looks great with the clear light..

Orange is best in black lights

red with red lights indeed.
I disagree, IMO the red lights clash with the reds, blues etc but look better with the whites and greys.

Glossy or satin red?
Guys at Anchor-room replied to me that this is the only transparent red vinyl they have (the glossy one), so we should try to look somewhere else to find a matte version.

I did receive the oracal 8300 series vinyl. This is safin / matte if I am correct. Did not apply it yet.

But there should be an Oracal version which is glossy like the normal red lights.
I am looking for that version.

papinist thank you for the pictures!

Just got a question: does the rear lights red vinyl cover the whole 3D bar? I mean, thanks to the shape of each of the 3 bars in each tail light you can actually put your hand behind each bar and see it through the transparent plastic. Does the vinyl from Anchor covers the inner part of each bar from the clear tail lights?
