Convertible Orders

No, your dealer didn't screw up. Looks like they are like my dealer and don't put names on the order. They did order it O/T 1 which is Retail and also Special Order.

Shoot was really looking forward to having my name on my window sticker :doh:

Plan on keeping this car forever....would have been a cool show piece to have

EDIT: What does "O/T 1" mean? I thought all retail orders started at Priority 10?

It became standard on convertibles I think around October time frame...though the B&P never got updated to show it. This had been confirmed by me at two dealers as well as Ford Service, so you should be good! Doesn't show on my Window Sticker either. Extra $400 in my pocket! :ford:

1 = Retail
2 = Stock

If you look on your sticker you will see O/T 1. Yup I was bummed they didn't put my name on the Window Sticker but my Sales Guy said they don't put anyone's name on the sticker there. I guess they have been burned a few times or something.

You will see it on your sticker under optional equipment as Active Anti-theft System and Wheel Locking Kit at no charge.

Thanks for the explanation! I guess they did it to me since I told them I would not give a non-refundable deposit that they originally asked for....you never know what might come up....I did give a $1000 refundable deposit, though they have yet to charge my card in over a month now :shrug:

Yeah my sales guy didn't even want a deposit. This is my fourth car with him and he said "You don't have to buy if it comes in and you change your mind" to which I replied "I think we both know I am buying this car" and then we laughed.

Hooray! Now I can see my convertible in COTUS too! Ordered 6/18/2014 and estimated delivery date 1/24/15. It's been a long wait and now that it's winter here in Canada I'll just park it and look at every day until spring.

I was reading this post and realized my name (first initial/last name) is on my window sticker!!! It's been there all along and I didn't even realize it! LOL:headbonk:

Sorry, of all the things to "fret" about is having your Name or Initials on the MRSP. I`ll gladly take my that simply states Special Order and the $750 and extra $500 Dream Big rebates instead.

I don't think having your name on the sticker means you can't get any rebates?

No one is fretting about not having our names on our stickers. It is just a cool thing to keep. You get the rebates regardless.

Unless one plans to "Frame" their MSRP Sticker and put it on the Wall as a form of Art, its probably going to get put into Glove Compartment never again to see the light of day, regardless.
