Are you all finding that your convertibles came in less or more time than your dealer's original estimate?
(Phil, no need for you to answer. ;o) My Jan 5th order was said to take 10 weeks. I HOPE they padded that and it comes sooner.

Yeah they told me 8-10 weeks, which is more than their standard 6-8 since it was a new model release and the holidays. It still came in just a few days over 7 weeks...the biggest factor is shipping I think. Mine came all the way to CO too!

Update! For those of you that have endured my Odyssey that began for me on 9/2/14, and the ensuing "rants", I am happy and proud to announce that "Chanel" has finally landed. Yes, late last night, the Car Carrier in the dead of night dropped off my 2015 Mustang Convertible. My Salesman was first to see it when he arrived this morning at the Dealership. He immediately had it sent in for "PDI" and detailing. I had no idea it had arrived yet and was just making my weekly stop to complain about "where is my Car"! Low and behold I saw a Race Red V6 Convertible with the 051A Package parked under the Reception area with a few water spots dripping to the pavement. Could it be mine? Ahhhh, "No Spoiler", it must be! I spotted my Salesman delivering a Wimbleton White LE 50th Anniversary Edition Coupe and he began blowing the horn and waving like a lunatic. The rest is history. At 4:00 PM eastern time, I drove her home and she is now comfortably resting on the Pavers in our driveway. A long journey, frustrating as hell but she looks beautiful. All $1250 in Incentives worked as the Car was given a Sold & Delivered date of 1/2/15. I`ll post some pics when and (if) I can figure out how to upload them. Cheers and thank y`all for your patience with my long trip.

Happy for you man! I had a similar thrill when I stopped at my dealer to pick up the Fusion and there was mine fresh of the truck. Such an incredible feeling...you know it's yours but can hardly believe it!

Stopped my dealer because one key didn't work, turns out it was not for my mustang, so now they will find mine, they had a Ruby Red metallic in the shop being prepped, black top, GORGEOUS!

Final EDD was moved from 1/12 to 1/14. It actually arrived at my Dealership on Fri, 1/9 in the evening. Took it home on Sat, yesterday, 1/10.

Glad you escaped the Twilight Zone. I hope you enjoy your RR V6 as much as I have. You'll be topless sooner than most of us in Colorado. ENJOY!!! :cheers::clap2::ford:

Drove "Chanel" home from the Dealership yesterday, "Topless" and took it out once again today "Topless". Partly Sunny with temps in low 80`s!:cheers:

Final EDD was moved from 1/12 to 1/14. It actually arrived at my Dealership on Fri, 1/9 in the evening. Took it home on Sat, yesterday, 1/10.

Congratulations! Despite the fact that both of our Vehicles probably parted company as they hooked up with different LOcomotives in Kentucky, they arrived almost the same time! I thought that Memphis (might) be the Rail Yard for all Southbound Trains but for FL, they are too far West. Ohh, almost forgot, my Car arrived with my preferred choice of Goodyear HP A/S Tires (not) the substituted Pirelli P Zero A/S Tires that were being used for a while on 18`` Wheel Tire combinations.

My convertible arrived 1/9/15

Special ordered my convertible on 10/31, X-Plan. It arrived at the dealer on 1/8 and I picked it up Friday 1/9.

Here are the details in the pix. I snapped the pix at the dealer just as the sun was setting and left on an out of town trip the next day. Will post better pix when I get back and have a chance to drive it in the daylight. Any Long Beach CA area get togethers let me know.

PS: Is your Sirius Satellite (bump) Black or painted the same exterior Color as your Vehicle? Looks black in the pic?

Hi,

It was getting dark when I first saw it and then dark when I got home and put it away. Have not seen it since then. I think it is body color.
