Great proof of concept. I’m sure that the tinkerers amongst us will try to make our own takes on this. My thought was to attach the mount to the sheet metal art the top of the opening into the trunk (not my car, I asked for a picture on the forum to consider mount solutions).

There are two. Bottom corners, one each left and right. Then the seat lifts straight up.

Ok cool, thx. I wasn't sure it the top of the seat had locking clips or something and I didn't want to pulling on stuff and break it. I'm planning on doing a rear seat delete in the very near future. Thx for info

Mounted the rear camera to the front edge of the deck lid with the “mounting flap” stuck with 3M adhesive to the underside of the lid. Will follow up wih photos.

Nice cam if you stick it to the top of your rear seat will be less noticable blending on with black upholstery or not noticable with top up and protected from elements and thieves.
