So last weekend I installed a Meth Kit, but before I did that, I figured I would do I full tune up, and change out all my fluids and plugs, and do a compression test.
I watched a bunch of videos on youtube, and in their testing, most of the cyilnders are slighty different across the motor. My current motor has a new shortblock with only 10k miles, and the top of the motor was cleaned up really well before everything was installed back in my car, but it had 40k miles on it. So I knew my results should be good, but every cylinder tested 225psi except for one that tested 227. I thought my gauge was bad, so I ran to autozone and picked up a different one and I got the same results, except the one that was 227 is now 225psi.
Would a stock factory motor from Ford test that evenly?
I guess I was expecting some varied results across some of the cylinders
