On the weekend, stopped at one of those roadside fruit trucks and the chick there made sure she attended me and had a chat about the car; how her partner had a 'sort of nice car' and she was telling him to get a Mustang instead :)

Then I took a friend to the airport and put the top down for the final approach and most of the attendants waving the cars along made comment about the 'cool car'... a nice touch when you figure they see hundreds of cars of a morning :)

Was at Cititel to pick up my missus and her friends.
A pretty concierge lady came up to my car and commented that I have a very beautiful car.
I wanted to reply back 'not as beautiful as you are' but then my missus turned up.... :paddle:

Went through Maccas drive through today for a well deserved choc top naughty I know but thought stuff it. Lined up in Que and worked my way to the speaker, went though the usual "two chock tops thanks mate" yada yada (one for me and one for the missus). Proceeded to follow the car in front around the corner of the building to pay for the choc tops, and then noticed the young fella at the window hanging out to get a really good view of the car with a grin only likened to a kid at Christmas getting his very first playstation. He quickly served the car in-front then continued to hang back out the window for another look. Pulled up to the booth and he asked was it a 2015 model, in reply I said "nah mate its a 2017" well his jaw dropped and his smile got bigger than I thought possible. Then he said he will have to work at maccas for the next 20 years to save up the deposit, To which my lovely missus said keep working hard and you will get it. I gave him the money with a smile on my face, and rolled of with a little burble of the exhaust. Looked in the rear view mirrors and hes still hanging out the window, it was priceless.
Then at Superdud while I was in the shop grabbing some quick crap the missus said a young bloke came up to her while she was sitting in the passenger seat and politely asked if he could take a pic to which she said yes.
Then driving around town and still getting neck twisters etc from pedestrians and drivers alike. Ha ha its never tiring ;)

People taking photos in traffic is still a daily occurrence.

Two today within the space of ten minutes.

thats funny, so much for not using phones while driving
Yeah.

The HWP should get a fleet of unmarked Mustangs - would fill their book with hand held phone tickets in next to no time.

There's new firmware available for download on the Thinkware support site btw - v1.00.06.

Thanks! ill check that out, I hope it gives more options to shut the thing up when driving..... Im sure its in options somewhere but I havnt had a good look at those yet.

I nearly ripped the thing out on the motor way. 'Mobile speed camera zone, Mobile speed camera zone, Mobile speed camera zone' ...... im sure it would spam that all the way to canberra haha

only half joking, ill check out the options. The camera does everything else its meant to do really well, very happy with it.

Also.... that moment a police officer pulls over a taxi for speeding ahead of you, then steps into your lane getting out of the vehicle. Must-have been a heartstopper when he saw it was a mustang!

Luckily Mustang drivers are on the ball !

You can silence her in the settings.

The v1.00.06 version notes state: "Fixed speed cam data issue" - so may not have any impact on the painful mobile speed camera zone warnings.

Wait until she starts ordering you to regularly format memory card for data integrity.

You will lose your shit.

You can also disable your displayed speed in the settings.

It's Sydney, you sure they weren't just texting or updating their Facebook status?

You can also disable your displayed speed in the settings.
The disadvantage of doing it is in the case of an accident and the other party claims you were speeding and that contributed. I'd rather have the info myself but just wanted to mention the other side of the coin.

It's patently obvious what they are doing once you become accustomed to the activities of these people.

Most texters and Bookfacers don't usually feel the need to use the top of their steering wheel as some kind of crude tripod as they do their deed. You can also sometimes see them zooming in with their thumb and forefinger prior to them taking the snap.

I'll post a video later if I get the chance.
