COMPETITION ORANGE GT350/R Thread

You know, I thought I would like the Orange, and that's what I ordered. But the more I look at that color, I'm just not sure. I ordered the color from the Ford site, but those showed the Orange much darker, kind of a burnt orange. Then last week a 2015 Orange GT showed up on the dealer's lot. But then, I don't know if I would like the Deep Impact Blue or the Race Red red any better!

I hear you! I really like orange in general - unusual, unique, etc. I saw a Comp Orange with Black Stripes at Laguna Seca, and it reminded me too much of Halloween.

BUT, an all Comp Orange (with or w/o a black roof) would be awesome! And, it would match my 65 Poppy Red Fastback :love:.

I think one problem with the orange is that you can't get a really nice shine (because it's s non metallic paint). I had an 04 Terminator that was Competition Orange and I had a really hard time keeping a shine on it. I'm seriously thinking of changing my color -- I don't have an order confirmation yet-- but I really don't know what color to change it to. I was thinking of race red or deep impact blue, but everyone has red, and I haven't seen the blue.
