I really want to order a Mustang but cannot decide on what colour. I love DIB but as it is discontinued was considering Lightning Blue but every picture I have found seems to show a different colour between teal and a bit of a boring blue, has anyone seen the colour in real life?

Welcome to the forum Jason...not seen Lightning Blue in the flesh myself but from the photos it looks like a fantastic colour.

I have seen the teal looking images, which I think Ford have just created for illustration purposes on the website. Photo's never do these things justice. Scour the web for photos & videos to be sure of your choice but if Lightning is your gut instinct, go with that! Get that order in!!!

Depends on the look you're after, but fwiw my opinion is Magnetic, black stripes, ebony interior, black wheels.
White knob...

The above is all you need to know. I was after the stealth look and ordered this spec exactly - bar the knob bit !

Pull the trigger on it, if it's top of your list go for it. All colour slook insane on the Stang. I was originally going to wrap mine frozen satin blue (from red!!), and I'm so glad I kept it red, I love it! If your gut instinct says 'Lighning blue' go wild for it! If I was ordering a MY17 I'd buy a Lighning Blue, but if I was told I could have any colour tomorrow I wouldn't care, because they're all so good!

Yes, someone who lives close to me has one in DIB. Was one of my favourite colours until they stopped making it.

Have to say that it looks slightly purple from a distance?! Not sure if it's because I always see the rear and the white rear lights lighten the colour?

I would start calling dealers, as there will still be some DIB "cancelled orders" arriving. I know Desmonds in Derry will be getting a DIB custom pack auto in in July/August. Was to be mine, but was to late to change it to manual. If they won't deliver it, you could always fly in to Derry airport and take it home on the ferry.

Will Lightning Blue not be like the Focus RS colour?

That's more like grabber blue that lighning blue. (If were on about the bright blue)

Lightning it more like this: (Back left, darker blue)

But it also will look like this (It's multi-tone, much like magnetic is)

The GT350 video that they've used in promos (haven't seen yours) Isn't actually lightning blue, it's different. It's close, but it isn't lightning. Think [MENTION=6364]Twin Turbo[/MENTION] can give a bit more on that.
