Hi,

Does anyone know of a website where you can choose the car colour then add stripes, decals etc and comparing different colour combinations?

Trying to find the best colour for hood spears to go with magnetic.

Not a lot of magnetics out there on the net with hood spears.

Not sure I know of a site that can do it... photoshop would.

Might i recommend Satin black or matte black, and then if you want some colour, a pinstripe, a silver/chrome would work too. In fact, magnetic is such a 'normal' colour that just about ANY colour will work as long as you incorporate said colour elsewhere on the car!

There's a reason for that. :p

I can't think of much that would work aside from black.

P.S. ignore him^. He was gonna wrap his pink!

Red? Black? Orange? Yellow? Green... To be honest any colour would work as Magnetic is a darker colour, especially as it'd be a colour pinstripe.

My car >IS PINK<

On black or white any colour would work, but on Magnetic? Not so sure. It's too "grown-up" a shade to tolerate anything too lairy IMO.
Agreed, but can totally make any color work on it. It's down to what Sudaf wants his car to look like...

For me it would have to be dark grey......in a subtle attempt to accentuate the rise on the ridges...

No idea if it'd work or not though:D:D

Thanks for the input guys.

I was thinking greyish or matte black or even a dark blue would do as well but would it show off clearly or would you have to be real close to the car to see it? Difficult to imagine. Theme that i am going for is to be subtle but striking. Just hope i can pull it off.

Here you can find a nice EU Mustang builder made by a german fellow. It's really nice to make your own car and add stripes and mods on it.

But you'll not have the hood spears in this builder ...

As a magnetic owner, and therefore a man of impeccable taste, I'm right in Centurion/Enoch's camp. A darker silver-grey or black for me.

Gibbo205 has some rocker stripes on his magnetic, they're practically unoticable in certain lights, when you really look at his car you begin to notice them:

As stated before, if you wanted 'louder and shouty' colours, you'd be shooting for things like orange pin stripes it's down to preference, both work.

You could also opt for Satin/Matte Greys/charcoal colours, they'd be very subtle but that out enough against the magnetic's metalic flicker it'll show up.

I was all for stripes, but after I picked it up I think it doesn't need them. It's all down to personal taste though :)

I would go Silver, especially if you have silver wheels.
If not, Black (more subtle)
