Hey Adam since I have your custom tunes, how do I go about activating the launch control?

I've been driving in mode 5 on the 93 tune averaging 26 MPGs from 20.5 MPGs from the max performance setting, crazy how much difference it makes.
If you have one of my tunes, there should of been instructions in the email I sent over to you. Stop car, put in first gear and floor it. It should only allow you to rev up to 4500rpms!

Maybe its the muffler but that is acting a lot more like ignition cut launch control than Cobb's normal fuel cut launch control.

I thought the same thing. It's like a two step which does it according to spark, not fuel.

Either way, it's a Cool feature to have.

Cobb offers both fuel and throttle cut for the launch control, you just have to set it in the ATR to what you would like to use.

I'd think that a two step ignition controller might help or install some type of boost controller that works by gear or speed.......or just get some better tires for track days.

You'd take off at lower boost and have it ramp up as you got moving. Kind of like a progressive nitrous controller works with spray.

Just a thought and Good Luck!

I'm looking forward to see what Cobb has up their sleeve to solve this.

Yeah. I know what your talking about. My buddy has an awesome boost by gear module. But he just switched over to Motec and now has traction control by gear.

I already am experimenting with boost by gear. If you want to try some launches on my tune you are running I can send you a "launch" map.
