Ok I just purchased and installed last night and the car seems slower then it did stock...I'm running the stage 1 93 Oct map and it's set to the 1st slot ....for max performance ...and I just did a firmware update. Help please what is the problem.

The Cobb OTS map is not impressive. Based on your mods, I think you would do better getting a pro tune. Most of the members here use Adam.

Ya that's what I was planning on doing after I master and play with the accesport a little. Gotta be something wrong. Should be a little quicker. They show like 80 tq gained from that. Even a placebo effect lol. If anything it actually does feel slower.

Cobb dialed back the torque on the latest revision of their tune. Plus, I think the S1 is only a 20 hp gain. Overall, the Cobb OTS maps aren't anything terribly impressive. If your charge air temps are up, that'll pull and cut power, especially with you being on the stock FMIC.

I'd recommend reflashing the tune and making sure it's in Slot No. 1, like you've stated it to be. It might not hurt to look over your hose connection points on the charge pipes to ensure they aren't loose or blown off.

Hmm ok I will do that when I get home. Maybe just because I was expecting more of a feeling of it....that sucks. And ya I was monitoring charge temps. Reached 129

And also. The way to check it is in the correct slow is my holding cancel on cruise control and going off the rpm by 1000 rpm being slot 1, etc. Correct? Just to verify

Slot 1 is the power slot yet.

When I tried it several months ago "probably an older version" I noticed it would get into boost much easier and it felt somewhat more responsive I guess. It still felt like crap though. Call up Adam. Just do it.

Something certainly sounds off! Even with the OTS tune you should still be able to tell a difference over the stock tune. I couldn't really tell a difference until i matted the pedal to the floor. The car should pull noticeably harder and not fall on it's face after 5k rpm. For me it was a night and day difference over the stock tune.

You have to make sure your OAR is at -1.00 in order to get max power out of the Cobb OTS tune. This is because Cobb retains the factory timing strategies revolving around OAR, where as other companies disable it, or force it to be at -1.00 regardless of issues.

Set one of your AP gauges to Octane Adjust Ratio Lrn and make sure it is -1.00
