I have a JLT CAI and a catback and an auto. Is there any risk of just running off the shelf tunes with such simple modifications? I will go tune plus eventually but the funds are tight right now :D

You can run a Cobb Stage One OTS Tune. I've been using it for about 12k miles now.

Yea this was the first thing I noticed as soon as I uploaded the tune. For a second I thought the car was in manual paddle shift mode, but then I realized it shifted on its own, but very late. I'm wondering if anyone else besides us have this issue, or is it common among the OTS stage 1 users.
For those of you that have Cobb OTS Stage 1 Tune and an Automatic - since version 2.00 of the tune, for some bizarre reason Cobb have increased the 1st Gear shifting point from 1700 rpms, to 2500 rpms (this is only for the 1st to 2nd Gear). You cannot override this in the automatic cars UNLESS you revert your Stage 1 tune to version 1.20 (or get a custom tune by Adam).

I've had the same issue and have flagged this to Cobb's customer support twice, but no changes sadly. They have release two more versions (2.01 and 2.02) with the same issue unchanged.

If you want to grab version 1.20, you just need to contact support and ask them to email the file to you.

Hope this helps!

The transmission tuning on the OTS maps isn't that great, that is why I completely redo them in my tuning. If you want more out of the transmission I have that as an option as well.

Would not recommend this - I ran into a lot of preignition with the COBB Stage 2 and Mishi FMIC. I eventually went back to Stage 1 and I'm waiting to get a custom tune that matches the mods I'll be doing.
