So I have come to the conclusion that my clutch is the most likely cause of my high rpm shifting issues. Now that I have full bolt ons and am seeing 7000 to 7500 rpms granny shifting isn't even letting me get by like it was before the intake manifold. now when I go to shift at 7200, 7300ish my pedal almost feels like it just falls to the ground and takes a bit for it to return. Long story the dealer CarMax put a new clutch in it when I bought it, 2 months ago, but I later found out that it was an auto zone special. So I have cams that are about to go in, and will have a cobra jet setup here pretty soon as well, so shifting at 8k plus will happen a lot. Looking for a cost effective solution that will be good for 550 is rear wheel with some high rpm use. then down the road I will go with something like a mantic, mcleoud. I have seen some exedy setups that seem cost effective, just curious what suggestions people have and experience with them. I haven't decided yet if I will go with a t56 in the future, or stay MT82, or end up going FI also. So honestly looking for a temporary setup that will get the job done until I figure out what I am really going to do the car. Thanks guys
