I noticed a few days ago when shifting into a gear say 3rd to 4th (around 6500+) at high speeds it feels like to goes into gear (RPM even go down) but when u go to press on gas RPM climbs then suddenly jumps (red lining).

It happened again to me today going from 4th into 5th. I shifted at around 6700-7000 RPM and it did the same thing. I instantly smelled was I thought to be burn clutch.

I did another run hoping maybe it might have been driver mod and I missed my shift but again 4th to 5th RPM drops, I press on gas, it starts climbing slowly then jumps to redline.

So, what do you guys think? Is it my clutch or is my tranny getting ready to go out on me? Any similar experiences?

Clutch slip under high load.

Your transmission would be broken if it was doing that. Thankfully the clutch is the weak point.
