If it only has 500 mikes then if they followed the breakin procedure you should see very even wear on all friction pads, pressure plate and flywheel. From the pictures it appears to be uneven.
Questions I would ask are if this clutch was paired with a new flywheel or resurfaced?
I would also ask a trick question such as how did it hold on hard launches? If they answer with anything other than I do not know because i never finished breakin then i would walk away.
If you plan to install this yourself then have at it. Only loss in your time. If you are paying someone to install then figure in the potential of paying twice if it is indeed shot which more than covers saving up for a new one.
That’s good advice.... well it definitely wasn’t broken in correctly... the flywheel and Floater plate definitely have a lot of hot spots... but centerforce saw the picture of the pp and they said it looked totally fine. So I’m thinking I’ll try resurfacing the flywheel and maybe the floater if they say it’s ok and throw it in. Worst case it doesn’t work and I wasted $250. The original torque hold rating was up to 1300ft/lbs. so even if it’s cut in half I should be good.
