I would have hit the second driver( turned towards the back door) and totaled my car Would have been his fault and I would have ordered a new one

Spring Hill in Hernando County. All old people.

The first guy I got next to while holding the horn, the both of them just turned and stared at me with the most dead/blank expressions I've ever seen. Almost like they were upset I didn't hit them.

Second one the guy must have been in his late 80's, all I saw was the back of his head. Yup, the whole time he was going across the road all I saw was the back of his head, he never once looked at oncoming traffic.

I used to drive through Spring Hill before any of the houses where finished. Made for good weakend fun. :D

After two close calls...I finally realized the poor steering wheel design on the 2015. All of my vehicles for the last decade have had horn buttons located at the wheel 'cross bars' not just at the center of the wheel. My thumbs are normally positioned at or near the cross bars. All I had to do is press down and the horn would sound. Now I have to take my hand off the wheel and slam my hand on the center. During both of the close calls, I wasn't able to hit the horn until I had completed the avoidance maneuver, which doesn't do you much good if it's after the fact.
"Clarification": not obvious exposed 'buttons' but 'horn switches' located in the soft padding of the cross bars. My last three vehicles since 2010 have all had easy to push cross bar horn buttons in the soft padding under my thumbs. My Ford F150 pickup has them.

I haven't seen a horn button in more years than I can count. Think I've only ever had one or 2 vehicles with them.

Never had an issue getting to the horn in time when it was required.

Having the horn at the center of the wheel is not that uncommon, nor that bad... My last 5 cars had em right there indeed... I personnaly do use it to bitch at people, but when I'm in an avoidance maneuver I really dont think about it, I just wait till I'm clear THEN I punch it like a mofo... Just my 0.02

Haha! Everyone that lives in Spring Hill is pretty much from New York... OP I've seen your car around a lot.... I just traded my 2014 ruby red for a 2015 Black. It is almost done having the supercharher put on... Are there any local meets around here?
