Florida is driving Hell.
I learned to drive back in the early 70s in South Florida. Doesn't sound like it has changed much. I always felt like I was playing dodge ball in a car. Fun times.

Man, both of those videos are rage inducing. My heart rate increase and I dropped a "WTF!" right before you did on screen.

Some people man...

I moved from Los Angeles to Tampa. In LA, most drivers are skilled, but complete assholes. In Tampa, they are nice, but suck at driving.

I'm sure there is a city in which the drivers both suck and are assholes.

No place exists where they aren't at least one of the two.
Which one of the two are you? Or do you consider yourself to be both? :D

IMO the OP was driving a little too fast for conditions (although I would be driving the same as he was, or even worse - nothing annoys me like slow people in the fast lane - that wasn't really a highway, just an illustration of my preferences regarding lane etiquette (I'm not as bad as that Welsh dude, though)), but the other drivers were clearly not paying attention or just didn't care about cutting someone off.

I thought the first video was annoying but not necessarily scary. Second one made me tighten up a bit.

Neither were scary for me. If I had to brake hard enough for my ABS to go off and maybe reach for the handbrake, then that would be one thing. More pissed off. My first Veloster had got hit 4 times in parking lots over the course of two months. One was so bad at the Brandon Mall that my reflector was on the floor. I didn't care so much because I knew I wasn't keeping that car long, I mean of course I was pissed but my mustang is different. It's my baby. I don't want any dings even if they can be buffed out. And I already have a ding in my fender that I don't know where it came from. I always park about 100 feet away from a building I'm entering.

I'll be driving there tonight to pick up the GT. Couldn't find a dealer in Tampa with a base GT in blue, so bought it from Greenway Ford up there in O-town.
Congrats on the GT! Upgrading the from the Eco or is it a wifes car type deal?

This still to the day is the craziest cam footage I've ever seen from Russia

Time for an underwear change after time 2:40! :eyebulge: In that game, there is no "reset" ... it's just "game over", literally.

I know I'm a little late into the thread, but this is honestly the kind of stuff that makes me want to sell my bike. I feel like they are just way too dangerous now

Of course it's the driver, not the bike, that's making poor decisions.

I feel bad for bikers, the ones that ride responsibly. They are in the worst position among drivers who have trouble finding their turn signals. Which seemingly is, like, 80% of the population. :headbonk:
I really cringe when I see those guys making their way through rush hour. And they easily get lost in your blind spots.
