We hadn't heard of the brand you had suggested, either...but the features were so similar between the two (as well as the price) we just sorta flipped a coin.

I watched a couple videos on that Kehan camera and it looks pretty nice too! Man so many good choices for these things that are 1/4 the cost of go pro.... Glad to see competitors coming in because go pro was pretty pricey

The tough thing about riding a motorcycle is even if you make all the right decisions your life is still in the hands of all the drivers around you. That's why I sold my motorcycle. One too many close calls from someone who didn't see me and just pulled right out. It was a residential area and I was only going about 30 mph, but that's plenty fast enough to kill you. I'm old enough to realize that even if I lived through a motorcycle crash I would probably never completely heal.

Wasn't worth it to me.

This. And let's not start on deer (hit one on a bike and lived)....

I used to enjoy riding motorcycle to work. Used to. I don't anymore because I work in a city of ~50K people, and they are increasingly less attentive on the road during their morning commute. Put the goddamn cell phones away, people. So now I leave the riding to weekends out in the sticks, and drive the Jeep to work.

Perfect thread, been thinking about a dash cam after a recent road rager incident involving my Mustang, not to mention jackasses passing on the right in turn lanes (did I mention that I'm losing interest in riding motorcycles due to the actions of others?)....

I need to get one of these. Can you give details of your setup? Are these hard wired into the car or are they plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet?

I hard wired mine and the cables are routed so they cannot be seen.

I was getting an incoming call... however, i did contact local police to see if the driver of the car filed a report. there were no calls about this to local or state police.
btw... tread was not specific to mustangs with dash cams, this is from my DD.

I moved from Los Angeles to Tampa. In LA, most drivers are skilled, but complete assholes. In Tampa, they are nice, but suck at driving.

I'm sure there is a city in which the drivers both suck and are assholes.

No place exists where they aren't at least one of the two.

True story about L.A., most people are very defensive.... and jerks... seems like those other drivers are not use to driving defensively... just casually driving about not minding anyone ....
