Well, I don't want to be argumentative either but I still stand by what I said earlier. My explanations are in () above.I would just like to squash a few things.
While in sport or Track V4 will not Turn on and in V8 you can get 30mpg. V4 will put you in 40s.
:shocked::shocked:
1-4 skip shift is easily disabled with a 20 dollar bypass from SLP.
(ANSWER: Yep, I did that on a Camero I owned, but it's still gimmicky)
The new C7 trunk is huge due to having the whole back window lift up. If you want I can go take pics.
(ANSWER: The Vette doesn't have a trunk. Anyhing you put in the back is in plain sight. This would include valuables or any care care supplies and other equipment.)
Egress/Entry has been made much easier with the Easy Exit memory seat. As soon as you pop your door the seat slides back to let you out.
(ANSWER: Yes, and the motorized tilt/telescoping steering wheel moves out of the way. The problem is the left corner of the dashboard sticks out and is still in the way. Also, because you sit so low, your center of gravity makes it difficult to exit.)
The run flats that come with the 2LT are quiet.
(ANSWER: 2LT is an interior option, and has nothing to do with tire selection. The Z51 track option includes lower profile tires than the base C7, but they are both noisy at speed, although the non-Z51 is a bit quieter. Without a back seat, there is less of a barrier between you and the back wheels. And Chevy intentionally kept the sound deadening material to a minimum to conserve weight. There are numerous threads in the Vette forum about the noise being unpleasant, something I don't want to have to live with in a DD.)
I will agree with the poor visibility.
Not meant to be argumentative just pointing out some misconceptions.
