Clearance issue

I just recently purchased a 2018 mustang gt and installed brembo brakes. I was planning on using my s197s wheels but they do not clear with the valve stem. Has anyone ran a similar setup and is there a way to make the valve stem clear?

What do you mean it won’t clear the valve stem?

If the rim is touching or rubbing on the brake caliper, you will either need to get the correct rims with proper offsets, OR you can put spacers onto the hubs.

The valve stem is located near the back of the wheel and contacts the middle of the rotor. I think spacers could work but it would need to be a pretty aggressive setup. I’m gonna try shorter valve stems and see if that will work

Ok, NOW I see what you’re referencing in the new pic!

Wow, never saw that rim design before where the valve stem would be inset to the inside of the rim.

assuming this isn't a royal screwup by the manufacturer, how about using a 90-deg stem?
