I got this one in white: http://www.cjponyparts.com/shift-kn...3-2015-focus-st-2015-2016-mustang/p/MSK402-V/

You don't need the adapter with this one, so it doesn't sit any higher than the stock knob (it is bigger though, but about perfect size for my hands). I don't think the 50th anniversary knob or the Roush knobs need the adapter either.

I'm not a big fan of it since it's really light and feels like it's made of plastic, and I can feel everything when I'm shifting. The notchiness that people refer to on this site is even worse with this knob, but I've gotten used to it. I would prefer something heavier for a smoother shift though; but I got it for free with loyalty points, so I can't complain too much (plus I think the white cue ball style knob looks great with my black interior).

The 50th knobs don't use an adapter. I got the white one and it looks good with the black interior.

Yep, no adapter required. The OEM didn't want to come off though. Ended up using a 2" piece of the tube my hood struts came with to put over the knob. Then a pipe wrench... came right off and didn't damage the OEM knob. Replacement goes on with blue Loctite. Let it set over night. The white sure does look great! First thing everybody zeros in on when they look inside... and I've got "Recardos".

That is all...

Guys is this the right 50th knob to fit in my car?

http://www.cjponyparts.com/shift-kn...v6-gt-2011-2014-boss-302-2012-2013/p/MSK408W/

Only ask as it says 2011-2014 with no mention of 2015-2016 Mustang GT.

If it is do I need an adapted or just the jam nut?
That part number doesn't match the one I bought but looking at the thread sizes for the others that say 2015 they are the same. From what I can tell you should be good. It doesn't use an adapter. Just a heads up if you can hold out until the holiday sales you might see the price drop. I got mine for 63.00 during the fourth of July sale.

This is from my order. The link in my email no longer takes me to that items page but this is the info:

2015 6 SPEED WHITE SHIFT KNOB W/ PATTERN W/ 50 YEARS LOGO
Part #: MSK403W

Maybe shoot them an email if you aren't certain. [email protected]

I would be weary about ordering until you hear back. Threads look to be correct, but it doesn't say anything about retaining the reverse lockout functionality (the older mustangs you push down on the shifter to reverse).

Here's one that is similar to the 50th and doesn't need an adapter (has only the pony on the side, but doesn't say 50th): http://www.cjponyparts.com/shift-kn...ttern-and-pony-logos-6-speed-2015/p/MSK404-V/

Not sure what happened to the 50th shift knob. Might be out of stock?

I forgot about that difference. I was thinking that knob was sold other places but it might have been an CJ exclusive. CJ's youtube video is still out there but that page on their site is gone.

Does not sound good. :(

Are there any knobs that feel and look like a real pool ball. I don't want some light plastic cheap feeling knob when I will be using it so much. :D

Are the Speedawg ones higher better feeling quality and if so do they have any white offerings?
